Information TERNZ is a conference for teachers in the tertiary sector to research and re-assess their teaching, share new ideas, and articulate their educational values. It is highly participatory and aims to create a critical space in which to develop research conversations within a supportive community.

What's New? The TERNZ conference 2002 is the first to be held in New Zealand. It is sponsored by the Higher Education Development Centre, University of Otago as part of a national initiative to help develop a tertiary sector research community. The intention is for TERNZ to become an annual event which moves each year to one of the main centres. In 2003, TERNZ will be held in Palmerston North.
